Cared for plot, but must have been abandoned at one time, because all original markers broken or destroyed.

County of cemetery: Lincoln County
Location of cemetery: MO-H & Tagg Rd., community of Mackville
Number of graves: I counted 15 sites
I believe Find-A-Grave lists only 10 sites because of a newly added stone with the Kinion family names and dates buried here. I believe others may be buried here, other than the Kinions, and account for the additional stone placements I found.

A post office in the southeast part of Millwood Township, established by 1886 and discontinued by 1904. It was named for Dr. McElwel who was familiarly known as "Mack." The place listed as Markville on the COUNTY ATLAS of 1899 is probably a misspelling of Mackville.
This is strange because almost across the street is the Sulphur Lick Cemetery where a Baptist Church and the town of Sulphur Lick once existed. Post office here was from 1858 to 1876 and the Baptist church was from 1812 until the early 1900s.
