FR Cette chapelle se dresse au sommet de la montagne qui se trouve juste au sud-ouest de la commune. Le site est assez peu visité, car d'accès pas très évident pour les non-marcheurs.
Quelques petits mots d'abord sur le panorama qui s'offre à nous depuis ce plateau. A l’extrême ouest, se dressent les Bessillon, massifs les plus remarquables du département tant par leur situation géographique que par leur morphologie. Puis le regard s'égare sur la vaste plaine bosselée de l'Argens qui s'étire d'est en ouest, coupant le Var en deux. Quelques reliefs caractéristiques émergent de ces molles ondulations, telles que la barre de Saint Quinis, la Loube et le Recou au-dessus du Luc.

La chapelle a été laissée à l'abandon pendant de longues décennies. Sur cette hauteur, elle ne bénéficie d'aucune protection (si ce n'est divine), subissant la pluie, les vents, la neige, les orages, et le soleil cuisant de l'été. L'enduit qui recouvrait ses murs laisse à présent ressortir la beauté brute de sa maçonnerie en pierres et ses nombreux chaînages d'angles. Son toit qui avait depuis longtemps laissé place au bleu du ciel, a été totalement remonté à neuf. L'harmonie en a par contre pris un sacré coup !!
Deux éléments cependant mettent en valeur cet édifice. Le premier est sa façade, assez récente (1874) et en très bon état, qui est surmontée d'un clocher fort simple et encadrée à ses deux angles par deux sortes de pilastres qui se prolongent au-dessus du toit par des clochetons typiques de l'architecture du XIXè s. En guise de portail, la façade est percée d'une simple porte en arc plein cintre. L'autre point intéressant est l'intérieur de l'édifice. On remarquera que le chœur ainsi que la voûte du plafond (enfin, ce qu'il en reste) sont recouverts d'un parement fait de briques rouges.

Depuis la chapelle, on peut atteindre un belvédère un peu plus bas qui offre une belle vue sur la région de Salernes. Pour cela, il suffit de suivre le petit chemin balisé en jaune qui mène dans un premier temps au relais télécom puis au belvédère. De là-bas, on surplombe directement le village, et l'on aperçoit très bien les ruines du château. La vue porte ici sur le nord et l'ouest, permettant ainsi de bien distinguer la chaîne des Cugulon sur la gauche prolongée sur la droite par la chaîne rocheuse des chapelles de Vérignon. On aperçoit aussi très bien les jolis villages de Villecroze et de Tourtour qui méritent quelques heures de visite.
EN This chapel stands at the top of the mountain which lies just to the southwest of the town. The site is fairly little visited, as access is not very obvious for non-walkers.
A few words first about the panorama that is offered to us from this plateau. In the extreme west, the Bessillon, the most remarkable massifs of the department, are located both in their geographical situation and their morphology. Then the gaze strayed on the vast bumpy plain of the Argens, which stretched from east to west, cutting the Var in two. Some characteristic reliefs emerge from these soft undulations, such as the bar of Saint Quinis, the Loube and the Recou above the Luc.
The chapel has been abandoned for decades. On this height, it enjoys no protection (if it is divine), undergoing rain, winds, snow, storms, and the baking sun of summer. The coating that covered its walls now reveals the raw beauty of its stone masonry and its numerous cornering. Its roof, which had long since given way to the blue of the sky, has been totally rebuilt. The harmony however took a hell of a blow !!
Two elements however highlight this building. The first is its fairly recent façade (1874), in very good condition, surmounted by a very simple bell-tower, framed at its two corners by two kinds of pilasters, extending above the roof by typical bell-towers The architecture of the XIXè s. As a gate, the façade is pierced with a simple arch door. The other interesting point is the interior of the building. It should be noted that the choir and the vault of the ceiling (and what remains of it) are covered with red brick cladding.

From the chapel you can reach a belvedere a little further down that offers a beautiful view of the Salernes region. To do this, just follow the small yellow marked path that leads initially to the telecom relay then to the belvedere. From there, you directly overlook the village, and you can see the ruins of the castle very well. The view here is on the north and west, thus making it possible to distinguish the Cugulon chain on the left extended on the right by the rocky chain of the chapels of Vérignon. We can also see very well the pretty villages of Villecroze and Tourtour which deserve a few hours of visit.
