This section corner is located along the Deschutes National Forest boundary just southeast of Bend, OR, about a mile west of where F.S. Rd. 1815 crosses the forest boundary east of Horse Butte. The pipe cap was set by LS 706 in 1975. The cap is marked T 18 S, R 12 E, S 26 S25 S35 S36.
