This map is on an information sign at the Glen Vale car park which is situated on a narrow walking and cycle friendly, minor road running between the village of Strathmiglo to the A911 road near Kinnesswood skirting the steep north and west escarpment of the Lomond Hills an area of high ground straddling the border of Fife and Perth & Kinross.
Glen Vale is a steep sided valley that cuts into the hills in an eastward direction, this car park is the starting point for the walk up the vale.
Apart from depicting your location on the map and information on the Glenvale path, the sign also points out the following places of interest:

3 West Lomond Hill Cairn
4 Bonnet Stone
