Situated next to Lexington Reservoir, this station serves the surrounding Santa Cruz Mountains area. Rather than just having one building, this is more of a complex. One building houses the vehicles, has exercise equipment, and the office. The firefighters sleep in a seperate building and they eat in yet another one. Due to the size of the area, the have a bell outside that they ring to call the fire fighters to dinner. Shift rotation here is 3/4...on for 3 days and off for 4. This station is equipped with an engine, a helicopter, and a helicopter support vehicle. When the helicopter is needed to extinguish fires, it dips it's 324 gallon bucket into the nearby reservoir and drops it on the fire.
