FR Citée dans les archives paroissiales d'Embrun dès 1080, l'église n'est édifiée qu'en 1581 sous le patronage de Saint Pierre.

Dégradée au cours des guerres de religions, il est fait état d'une réfection de la toiture en 1698 et des peintures en 1715.

Honoré Charbonnier lègue à la commune une forte somme afin (entre autres) que le clocher de l'église soit le plus haut de la vallée. Le clocher est donc rehaussé de 30 à 40 mètres de haut en 1890.
EN Cited in the parish archives of Embrun as early as 1080, the church was built in 1581 under the patronage of Saint Peter.

Degraded during the wars of religions, there is mention of a renovation of the roof in 1698 and paintings in 1715.

Honoré Charbonnier bequeathed a large sum of money to the commune in order, among other things, for the church tower to be the highest in the valley. The bell tower was raised from 30 to 40 meters high in 1890.
