It has a different sundial on each of its four faces and each face has the symbols for the signs of the Zodiac.
The South face has a dial that shows solar times between June and November (Summer and Fall) and each month has its relevant Zodiac symbol. It also has a moon dial showing phases of the moon.
The west face has a dial that shows solar times but corrected to be clock times between December and May (Winter and Spring).
The east face also shows clock corrected times for Winter and Spring.
The north facing dial shows early morning and late evening hours near the summer solstice only, spring and summer.
