Barker Dam is a short walk around a loop trail. It creates a beautiful waterhole that is a welcome rest from the stark dry desert.

There is a small display at the dam. The walk is along granite rocks with a few steps. Sometimes the trail is a little hard to find, but there really is no where else to go. You'll hear a number of birds in the area as you walk along the edge of the pond.
