A rather unusial lion on a playground in the Osnabrück Zoo.

This is a rather unusual lion I found in the Osnabrück zoo.
It is a mixture between figurative and abstract. Its head, tail and legs are carved from wood, the mouth is wide open. The head and tail are decorated with plastic that looks like a mane and (what is the fur on a lion's tail called? well, that). Back and bottom of the lying lion are built by a metal mesh and the whole thing is mounted on a gladiator-like wagon. Children can crawl into and through the lion.
