Besides "Alter Turm" an insect hotel is located. It offers varied nesting possibilities for insects in the most different natural materials.
The head-high insect hotel is formed alike of a showcase and is built of massive wood. A sign with information about insect hotels, protection of endangered species and nesting boxes for insects is put up at the side at the hotel.
The insect hotel was established by "Biologische Station Bonn/Rhein-Erft".
