The history behind this building is a mystery currently. It is situated to side of the site previously occupied by "Our Lady of the Assumption" church. The congregation of that church is now situated in the plot behind, now "St Mary's Church." Association with the church is quite likely but it is possible the building was simply named Lluesty Mair and built in 1865 - naming of buildings (instead of numbering) remains popular in the area to this day.
