The original building was constructed in 1866 with additions thru 1897. It is also known as the Stone Brothers and Curtis Mill. The mill originally employed 100 workers, making blue and brown cotton denim cloth. In 1876 the owners were forced to sell the mill to the White Brothers of Winchendon, MA. The new owners were able to run the mill from 1872 to 1939. Operations of the mill were shut down on June 26, 1939 due to the depression and heavy damage incurred during a flood. The mill has been converted as residential rental property.
