St Matthews Anglican Church is built of locally quarried stone and has an unusual tower beyond the entry foyer that is turreted with gothic shaped spaces rendered and recessed into the stone work. The church bell is from St Lukes Church in Staffordshire, England. The foundation stone was laid by R.W.H.Moline, Archbishop of Perth on October 26th 1954 and opened by D.L.Redding, Bishop of Bunbury on February 26th 1957.
