The 6 ft tall statue sits on a pedestal in the park. Gandhi is wearing a dhoti and sandals. He has glasses on and is holding a staff in his right hand. The statue itself was given to the community by the country of India. The placement of the statue, caused disagreement and a small protest during it's unveiling.
