There are many dedicated trees surrounding the Joliet Community Center. The dedicated trees are placed lining the parking area and in front of the center. Included among them is a dedicated tree honoring Amy Christensen.

Amy Marie Christensen was born August 30, 1915. She passed away February 29, 2004 at the age of 88. Amy was the seventh of 11 children of Harry and Alice Sell.

On September 15, 1935, Amy married Ernie Christensen. They were married for 68 years.
