EN: The transformer substation Tecknau-Dorf is located on the railway line on the opposite side of the village center. It has an unusual hipped mansard roof and a gray cornice over the second floor. On the front are three small windows and three round ventilation holes on the side wall. The metal door is quite new.
The station dates from 1912, during the construction of the railroad line, and replaced an older station that no longer exists. The architect was I. Pellegrini.
DE: Die Transformatoren-Station Tecknau-Dorf befindet sich an der Eisenbahnlinie auf der gegenüberliegenden Seite des Dorfkerns. Sie hat ein ungewöhnliches Mansardwalmdach und ein graues Gesims über dem zweiten Stockwerk. Auf der Vorderseite sind drei kleine Fenster und drei runde Belüftungslöcher an der Seitenwand. Die Metalltür ist ziemlich neu.
Die Station stammt aus dem Jahr 1912, also während des Baus der Eisenbahnlinie, und ersetzte eine ältere Station, die nicht mehr existiert. Der Architekt war I. Pellegrini.
