Tumbleweed Ranch sits in a former cotton field in Chandler and displays implements, tractors and buildings from Chandler's agricultural past. This flat bed wagon is under a canopy and carries a load of wooden crates. Oranges were a major agricultural product of the area before the spread of houses. Wagon's like this would have been loaded with fruit and driven to the Sunkist plant a dozen miles away in Mesa. The wagon has suffered from spending most of its life in the sun and the crates are in the same condition. There should have been a seat on the front of the wagon bit it has disappeared. The wagoneer would probably have been glad to stand up after a few miles on a rutted road with that poor suspension.
