FR L'eau qui alimente la fontaine et le lavoir provient d'une source située dans la combe Barnouin, au-dessus du village. Cette source jaillit d’une nappe phréatique commune aux villages du Beaucet et de Venasque, si bien qu’autrefois, en période estivale, une rotation des jours d'utilisation de l'eau (pair et impair) avait été instituée entre les deux communes.

LA FONTAINE AUX QUATRE MASCARONS
Cette charmante fontaine du XIXe siècle comporte un bassin de forme hexagonale. Le fût octogonal présente un vase Médicis en « acrotère » (ornement sculpté au sommet), surmonté d'une pomme de pin. Les quatre mascarons d’où partent les jets d’eau représentent deux visages et deux rosaces.
Ces décors sculptés ont été restaurés lors de la rénovation de la fontaine en 2004.
EN The water supplying the fountain and the laundrette comes from a spring located in the Barnouin valley above the village. This source springs from a water table common to the villages of Beaucet and Venasque, so that in the summertime a rotation of days of water use (even and odd) was established between the two communes .

LA FONTAINE WITH THE FOUR MASCARONS
This charming 19th-century fountain features a hexagonal shaped basin. The octagonal barrel has a medicis vase in an acrotera (ornament sculpted at the top), surmounted by a pine cone. The four mascarons from which the jets of water start are two faces and two rosettes.
These sculpted decorations were restored during the renovation of the fountain in 2004.
