In the center of Holliston is the Holliston Town Hall.
The building is located along Washington Street, next to the town's main cemetery and a white church. It is near the intersection with Elm Street.
The building is a tall, rectangular structure, with a low peaked roof with dormers. I'm not sure how many floors the building has. I'm thinking that it has 2 1/2 stories, with a very tall ceiling on the second story.
The building is painted a light grey with white trim. The front has stairs leading to the front door. Over the door is the sign, "Town Hall."
An article stated that the town hall was building in 1852. Major interior work was done in 2002-3.
Holliston was split off the town of Sherborn and established as a separate town on December 23, 1724. Today, Holliston has a population of 13,547 (2010 Census). The type of government is Board of Selectment/Town Meeting - a typical New England type government.
