Probably standing on the site of a gothic castle, the Renaissance chateau was built in a dominant position and later rebuilt in Baroque style for Jan Kryštof Kager of Štampach at the turn of the 18th century. It is a two-storey four-wing chateau with a small rectangular courtyard. The noticeable fagade faces the park, which was founded before 1700 and enlarged in 1732. On the terrace and in the park are allegorical and mythological statues from M. B. Braun's workshop (the originals were moved to the cloister in Kladruby in 1960). The chateau was renovated in Neo-Baroque style at the end of the 19th century. In 1976, it was damaged by fire. After difficult reconstruction, the chateau is currently being prepared for opening.

Zrejme na místech gotického hradu byl v dominantní poloze postaven pozdne renesancní zámek, upravený barokne na prelomu 17. a 18. stol. hrabetem ze Štampachu. Dvoupatrový ctyrkrídlý zámek s nevelkým obdélným nádvorím. Výrazne clenená hmota zámku je zduraznena prevýšeným stredem a dvema nárožními vežemi (1712). Vstupní prucelí je obráceno do parku, založeného pred r. 1700 a rozšíreného v r. 1732. Na terase a v parku jsou alegorické a mytologické sochy z dílny M. B. Brauna (originály byly v r. 1960 preneseny do kláštera v Kladrubech). Zámek byl koncem 19. stol. upraven novobarokne. Byl poškozen požárem v r. 1976. Po nárocné rekonstrukci se pripravuje k otevrení.
