From the WhatPub website:-
Multi CAMRA award winning Grade II listed 17th Century ale house. First licensed in 1790, this pub stands on historic Cartway which links High Town with the quayside. Knowledgeable staff can advise on a range of ales available from six handpumps from Greene King and a choice from other breweries. A real cider and traditional bar snacks compliment these fine ales. The patio affords views over the river Severn and Bridgnorth landscape. The Cliff Railway, England's oldest and steepest funicular railway, is nearby. Winner of Marches Pub of the Year 2015, local Branch Pub of the Year in 2015 & 2016 and Bridgnorth Pub of the Year 2016.
