"This is a fine place below Aigues Mortes on the Camargue and the Mediterranean with a long beach and a fine fishing port."
Ernest Hemingway, 27 Mai 1927 (correspondance à Maxwell Perkins)

The Tourist Office and the Hotel Bellevue invite you to stay in the same hotel as the writer,
It was in May 1927 that Ernest Hemingway, just married to Pauline Pfeiffer, chose the Grau du Roi for a carefree and brilliant Honeymoon under the Mediterranean sun. His correspondence mentions a new stay in December 1949. If the hotel of his first stay, the Grand Hotel Pommier, became a restaurant, the Quai des Artistes, the hotel of his second stay, Hotel Bellevue and England . It is in this charming 2-star hotel, idyllically located on the quays, that one proposes to you to stay in the wake of Hemingway ...... "
