This tree is situated in the main grounds of Rhyl Parish, on the lawn of Holy Trinity Church (next to St. Thomas Church).

Plaque reads:
'The Normandy Tree
Planetd on 29th November 1996 as a living memorial to those of our comrades who gave their lives in The Battle For Normandy, 6th June to 20th August 1944, and subsequent battles which led to the libration of Europe on 8th May 1945.
"Their sacrifice gave us the freedom we still enjoy"

Dedicated 6th April 1997'

There is all-day public access to the grounds. Note: the plaque is situated in front of a wall which is a private residence.
