This bench stands in front of the Tonkawa Public Library.

In front of the main entrance (west) of the Tonkawa Public Library is a white granite bench dedicated to Dave Jacobs. The front of the seat portion is engraved with "In Memory of Dave Jacobs".
The top of the seat has an engraving of a rabbit, and a picture of a man (Jesus?) sitting under a tree with a book, with a dove alongside.
The nickname "Lil Bub" is engraved in the lower left corner. We have been unable to obtain any information on who Dave Jacobs was, and in doing a search of "Lil Bub" we were surprised to find a lot of information on a special cat who has gained fame on the web. (We doubt that is related to our Dave Jacobs).
