Im 1908 angelegten Schulpark, der von einer Umfriedung mit Gusseisenstehern umgeben ist, befindet sich ein marmorner Obelisk zum Andenken an die Gefallenen des I. Weltkrieges. Über den 130 eingravierten Namen der Gefallenen und Vermissten wacht ein bronzener Adler mit ausgebreiteten Schwingen und gesenktem Kopf. Dahinter wurden 1964 acht Inschriftentafeln mit den Namen der Gefallenen des II. Weltkrieges 1939-1945 aufgestellt. Der Obelisk wurd am 18.Juni 1922 eingeweiht, die Gedenktafeln für die 325 Opfer des II. Weltkrieges am 3.Okt.1967 feierlich enthüllt.

In a school park, laid out in 1908, which is surrounded by a cast-iron fence, there is a marble obelisk to commemorate the dead of the First World War. Above the 130 engraved names of the fallen and missing, a bronze eagle with spread wings and bowed head watches. Behind it eight inscription panels with the names of the fallen of the Second World War 1939-1945 were set up in 1964. The obelisk was inaugurated on June 18th, 1922, the memorial plaques for the 325 victims of the Second World War were solemnly unveiled on October 3rd, 1967.
