Long Description:
In Virginia off of Route 220 -- A pretty and easily-accessible falls viewing area. Just pull off in the designated area and follow the path. Accessible more or less year round, wheel chair accessible.

This is a place to view it from, not a path to the falls itself.
There IS a path to the base of the falls...over the rail, down a large pile of boulders. I cannot "suggest" this path to others (due to potential for ankle sprains and loose rocks), though it is a GREAT photo place.

You "can" probably walk up to / behind the falls, but I would not suggest it (mossy / slippery).

In winter, put your hand in the river that makes the falls. It's warm. Lucky is the one who finds the falls icy (or unlucky...cuz it's GOT to be cold!)

Great "scenic photo opportunity", especially in the fall with the leaves changing.
