Built in 1832, the interior consists of 2 rooms, an entry way and main room. Through out the years it was known East School, the Center School, the District Two Schoolhouse and the School of Middle Class. It was the only one room schoolhouse in Sharon made of brick. The schoolhouse was moved to this site. It was in use from 1833 to 1920. It has served multiple purposes including a place for the Baptists and Congregationalists to meet in the 1800's and as a town meeting house or town hall. It is the only remaining schoolhouse within the borders of Sharon, NH today.
