With an impressive height of 2.10 meters and the impressive shoe size 48, he is one of the best-known Langenhorner - and one of the most controversial: the "naked man". The bronze statue of the well-known German sculptor Fritz Fleer (1921 - 1997) in Kiwittsmoor Park on the Tangstedter Landstraße polarized since its establishment in 1965. Finally, the artist created a young man in his unveiled splendor, and so the "licentious" monument with the official title "Der große Schreitende" has always been smeared with color, not only at the offensive spot. Nevertheless, the sculpture is firmly integrated into the everyday life of the Langenhorner as a central starting station. Kids Scavenger Hunts often ends with the "naked man", young people meet there for "chilling", many school classes serve as a template for nude drawing. And last spring, a group of "wild gardeners" has discovered him as well.
