The title, "Our Lady of Lourdes" is specific to the visions seen at Lourdes in France, with the first being seen 11 February, 1858, when a teenage girl spoke to the Blessed Virgin Mary in a cave near Massabielle (France).
The image seen by Bernadette Soubirous has been widely copied, and reproduced as statues and shrines around the world. [ (

This is a cast bronze statue, that is affixed into a brick corner of the modest church, on the corner of Anderson Drive, and Delprat Avenue, in the northwestern suburb of Newcastle - Beresfield. It faces a southerly direction to the park over the road, where there are several Memorials of World War 2.
It can be easily seen and photographed from outside the low brick fence on those two streets frontage. The Church is officially known as "Our Lady of Lourdes", in the Beresfield Parish.
