This war memorial stands on the grounds of the Bryan County Courthouse.

On the southeast grounds of the Bryan County Courthouse stands this memorial to those who were killed and are missing in action from the local area. It was dedicated on Veterans Day 2005. The monument is a black granite wall approximately 4 ft. high and 10 ft. wide.
The inscription reads:
Killed or Missing in Action / "Lest we forget, freedom is not free. Remember our Bryan County veterans for the sacrifice they made."
Below this are engraved those veterans killed in World War I, World War II, Korean War, Vietnam War and Operation Iraqi Freedom.
