The Bryan County Courthouse is a three-story stone block building, constructed in 1917 in the Neo Classical style. The architect was Jewell Hicks.

Entrances on the south and east have double aluminum and glass entrance doors above which are stone medallions. The first floor walls are rusticated and separated from the upper floors by a water table. Two pairs of Corinthian columns rise in front of the second and third floors at both entrances. Single windows are throughout with the exception of the areas between the columns, which have multi-paned window units on the two upper floors. At the roof line is a projected cornice, and balustrades.

The entrance floors, staircases and wainscotting are marble. The building was placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1984.
