The Kids on a Bike has iconic status, its the one mural, out of hundreds of murals, that's being printed on T-shirts & Souvenirs for sale in Penang.

The Bike is bolted to the wall, I had to wait for my photos as many tourists can not resist a photo sitting on the bike.

"Little Children on a Bicycle is a mural on the wall of a shophouse on Armenian Street, George Town. It is one of the two murals along that street painted by London-trained artist Ernest Zacharevic, in conjunction with the 2012 George Town Festival. It depicts a little girl taking her younger brother on a bicycle ride. The joy in their faces echoes down the street, providing a ray of cheer and adding character to Armenian Street." Street Art:
"It is located in various spots. So you have to walk around to find them. The paintings were commissioned  in 2012. Penang’s municipal council hired London-trained Lithuanian artist, Ernest Zacharevic and charged him with breathing new life into some of the atmospheric Chinese shop-houses around the inner city.  The result is an eclectic mix of media. His paintings are witty, and fascinating with murals as well as utilising real objects. So some of the images are 2D combined with 3D (actual objects).  The murals depict the lives in this area from the past. How you view his work is up to your interpretation and it is  a refreshing approach. The street art has transformed the old part of George Town into a busy area full of tourists all year round. Narrow streets and alley ways are now bustling with tourists." Text Source: (visit link)
