This welcoming free house is a little gem, serving a range of local real ales with a regular changing guest. The pub has a number of small rooms and a delightful rear outside drinking area. There are a variety of regular music events with live music every saturday evening, folk sessions on 3rd thursday of the month and american blue grass 4th wednesday of the month. Also Darts, dominos and bar billards table. Food is served early evening and also lunchtime at weekends. Hobson's pump rotates between Town Crier, Old Prickly and Twisted Spire.
