A simple red box with a perspex window & a fine selection of books. I took one of mine to swap but there was insufficient room. The street library is available 24/7. The Street Library website describes it as:

"Born under a blanket of winter fog, this little library sits in the heart of the village. Pop up the Post Office steps and you will discover it sitting proudly under the watchful gaze of Squirt, the village magpie".

There was no sign of Squirt.
