Organized Nov. 3, 1849, with 18 charter members, by the great pioneer leaders, Revs. Daniel Baker and John May Becton, home missionaries. The corner stone of the sanctuary is dated July 12, 1888. The GothiC sactuary is made of brick manufactured in Palestine. It contains beautiful leaded stained glass and Tiffany memorial windows. The lovely silver spire was added in 1890.
