This impressive sculpture group is located next to the Alstertal shopping center in the Poppenbüttel district of Hamburg.
The group represents a family consisting of father, mother and son and is the largest bronze sculpture (height: 8 meters) in Hamburg.
The sculpture group was created in 2006 by the Canadian sculptor Hans-Peter Conen - artist name Zyot - and the title - Mimir-Brunnen - comes from the nordic mythology and is a symbol of wisdom.
