Missouri State Penitentiary Factories - Jefferson City MO - Preserved Architectural Remnants and Ruins on Waymarking.com

Before the Missouri State Penitentiary was retired the prisoners worked factories that were on the prison grounds. This is what the site site looks like today. Nothing left but the concrete floor. The walls and guard towers is all that remain. The Google Earth image is older and still shows them in place if you zoom in.

This site can be viewed from the parking lot you don't need to take the prison tour but I highly recommend taking one of the prison tours.
