The Desert Garden is a four acre gem in the middle of Carefree. It includes one of the world's largest sundials, many sculptures, playgrounds and a range of plant displays. Every desert needs a water feature and this is it. And it's the only way to showcase water in an area where even the creek is dry. Water jets out of a towering wall into the first of two connected pools. It is pleasant to walk under the cascade of water for an instant cooling effect. From the first pool water cascades over a wall and onto boulders in the second pool. Stepping stones lead across the falls.
