SUMMARY: A uniformed World War I soldier stands at parade rest, his hands at waist level resting on the barrel of a Model 1903 Springfield rifle, proper left hand over proper right hand. The butt of the rifle is by the soldier's proper right foot. The soldier wears boots, leggings, trousers, jacket with ammunition belt, and campaign hat. A tree stump is behind his proper left leg.
