This three-panel mural shows a few of the 'everyday' aspects of life in the Kurri Kurri region. Being: Youth dancing with an 'FJ' Holden in the background; coal mining; indigenous origins; steel smelting; and everyday commerce.
This is at the northeastern entry to Kurri Kurri, off of the newer regional road - Hunter Expressway. It was painted by Peter Sesselmann. [July 2015]
On the right-hand panel is an information sign about the mural - close-up photo included.
