The newly opened (June 2017) Amazing World of Dr. Seuss Museum, featuring special climbable/touchable strong fiberglass foam sculptures, is located at the Quadrangle, 21 Edwards St., Springfield, MA.

Amazing World of Dr. Seuss Museum is dedicated to the life and characters created by Theodor Geisel writing as Dr. Seuss. The museum contains three floors. The ground floor contains a sculpture garden/playground of many of Dr. Seuss most memorable characters. There is are "life size" sculptures of The Cat In The Hat, Horton the Elephant, Yertle the Turtle, Thing 1 and Thing 2, The Lorax, and several more. The walls are covered by murals painted by artist John Simpson and there are interactive displays related to Dr. Seuss books.

The second floor is more for adults. It has re-creations of Dr. Seuss' living room and studio. There are also displays of his correspondence and other artwork. The basement contains an activity area for children.

Admission includes access to the other four museums that comprise the Quadrangle Museums. Open Monday - Saturday 10am - 5pm; Sunday 11am - 5pm. The nearby outdoor Dr. Seuss Memorial Sculpture Garden is free.
