Text der Bronze-Tafel:
"Marien-Glocke und Josephs-Glocke. 1779 gegossen von Martin Legros im Auftrag des Kurfürsten Max Friedrich von Königsegg Rtenfels für die nach dem großen Brand der Residenz neu erbaute Schlosskirche. Ursprüngliches Geläut von drei Glocken mit einer weiteren der Gießerei Claren in Sieglar von 1869. Im Zweiten Weltkrieg zur Metallgewinnung beschlagnahmt. 1947 Rückgabe dieser beiden teilbeschädigten Glocken. 1994 Rückführung an den historischen Ort in Erinnerung an die Zerstörung des Universitätshauptgebäudes am 18. Oktober 1944."
Text of the bronze plaque:
"Mary's bell and Joseph's bell. In 1779 cast by Martin Legros on behalf of Elector Max Friedrich of Königsegg Rtenfels for the castle church newly built after the great fire of the residence. Original chiming of three bells with another one of the foundry Claren in Sieglar from 1869. Confiscated in the Second World War for metal production. 1947 Return of these two partially damaged bells. 1994 Return to the historical site commemorating the destruction of the university main building on 18 October 1944."
