This monument is of a Spanish American War soldier at ease standing on a marble base. The statue is bronze. On a metal plaque that isn't dated, the dedication reads:
Erected by Company H 20th Kansas Infantry USV Eighth Army Corps Spanish American War 1898 - 1899.
Surrounding the memorial are the graves of several Spanish American War Veterans.
