Large roadside mural depicting events in and around Dundela, the original home of the McIntosh apple variety. The mural is located on County Road 18, just west of Heritage Road in the village of Dundela.
The mural depicts a rough timeline of the apple, from its chance discovery in 1796 by local farmer John McIntosh, through its burgeoning popularity as an eating and cooking apple, recognition of its importance through monuments, markers, and even Canadian coinage.
The village logo is featured as well.
The mural was created by local artists Sandasha Bough, David L Bough, and Dave Bough Jr. in 2001.
