St Luke's is built from locally quarried Casuarina stone and originally had a shingle roof that is now covered with corrugated iron
Repairs were made in 1877, new shingles, stained glass replaced the curtained windows and the outside walls were plastered
The Church was used as a schoolroom in the 1860's and 1870's.
The churchyard cemetery was used from the 1850's until the new cemetery futher from the brook was opened in 1903.
Services are held 0930 on the 1st and 3rd Sunday of the month
