This small station, surprisingly, handles travel northwards from Jinghong City. I say surprisingly because Jinghong is a tourist destination, albeit in a small way, but also the main city to the north is Kunming, which is one of China's transport hubs.
The station consists of half a dozen small companies selling bus tickets, at the road side of the station. Behind the sellers is a bus departure area. Rather annoyingly, there are a bunch of taxi drivers who will loudly offer their overpriced services at the station.
