Am modernen Gebäude Baumgasse 75 ist ein altes Relief angebracht, das einen Arzt zeigt, der ein krankes Kind behandelt. Es soll an das Mautner Markhof’sche Kinderspital erinnern, das von 1875 bis 1998 an dieser Stelle betrieben wurde. Das Kinderspital wurde von Adolf Ignaz Mautner von Markhof, seiner Ehefrau und seinen 10 Kindern finanziert. Das Relief wurde von Professor Carl Kundmann geschaffen und zierte den Eingang in der Baumgasse. Eine Kopie dieses Reliefs ist beim Grabmal Mautner Markhofs am Zentralfriedhof zu sehen.
Unter dem Relief befindet sich eine Gedenktafel mit folgender Inschrift:

On the modern building Baumgasse 75 is an old relief, which shows a doctor who treats a sick child. It is to remember the Mautner Markhof Children's Hospital, which was operated from 1875 to 1998 at this place. The children's hospital was financed by Adolf Ignaz Mautner of Markhof, his wife and his 10 children. The relief was created by Professor Carl Kundmann and adorned the entrance in Baumgasse. A copy of this relief can be seen at the grave of Mautner Markhofs at the Zentralfriedhof.
