Kostel svatého Jana Krtitele je rímskokatolický chrám v meste Bzenec v okrese Hodonín. Je farním kostelem farnosti Bzenec a je chránen jako kulturní památka Ceské republiky.
O existenci farní správy a kostela ve Bzenci již v první polovine 13. století lze soudit z listiny královny Konstancie z roku 1235, ve které se objevuje zmínka o bzeneckém farári Absolonovi. Puvodní malý kostelík stál na míste dnešního, v roce 1615 pri nem vzniklo literátské bratrstvo sv. Jana Krtitele. Nevyhovující kostelní budova byla zbourána koncem 17. století a na jejím míste byl 3. kvetna 1696 položen základní kámen dnešního kostela. Stavba byla dokoncena v roce 1702.
chod barokního kostela s valenou klenbou je zdoben portálem s erbem Kryštofa Pruskovského z Pruskova a jeho manželky. Jednolodní stavba, ke které priléhá na severní strane ctyrboká sakristie, je 45 metru dlouhá, 13 metru široká a 12 metru vysoká. Prucelí kostela dominovala puvodne vyšší vež, na kterou byl dán velký zvon z roku 1613. V roce 1768 byl objednán zvon nový. Dnešní podoba veže je z roku 1746, tehdy byla do vežní báne vložena pametní listina. Nezmenenou soucástí puvodního kostela zustaly krypty, které sloužily pro cleny hrabecí rodiny a duchovní. Vnitrnímu vybavení kostela dominuje hlavní oltár se sloupovým retabulem z první poloviny 18. století s obrazem krtu Krista, pri sloupech jsou rozmísteny figury evangelistu Matouše a Jana, figury Lukáše a Marka jsou posazeny na konzolách nástavce, na hlavní oltár navazují drevorezby sv. Petra a Pavla. I další vybavení kostela pochází vesmes z 18 století. U kostela stojí sloup sv. Trojice z roku 1764.
Prostor kolem kostela byl využíván do roku 1812 jako hrbitov, pozdeji byl upraven na park. V roce 1812 byl zbudován nový, soucasný hrbitov.

The Church of St. John the Baptist is a Roman Catholic temple in the town of Bzenec in the district of Hodonín. It is the parish church of the Bzenec parish and is protected as a cultural monument of the Czech Republic.
The existence of the parish administration and the church in Bzenec in the first half of the 13th century can be judged by the document of Queen Konstancie from 1235, which mentions the blessing of Absalom. The original small church stood in the place of today, in 1615 the literary brotherhood of St. John the Baptist. The inadequate church building was demolished at the end of the 17th century and on May 3, 1696, the foundation stone of today's church was laid. The construction was completed in 1702.
The running of the baroque church with the vaulted vault is decorated with a portal with a coat of arms of Kryštof Pruskovský of Pruskov and his wife. The single-story building, adjacent to the north side of the quadrilateral sacristy, is 45 meters long, 13 meters wide and 12 meters high. The facade of the church was originally dominated by a higher tower, which was given a large bell from 1613. In 1768 a bell was ordered new. Today's tower is from 1746, when a commemorative plaque was added to the tower. Unchanged part of the original church remained crypts, which served for members of the count family and the clergy. The interior of the church is dominated by the main altar with a pillar retailing from the first half of the 18th century with the image of the baptism of Christ, the columns are depicted by the figures of the evangelists Matouš and Jan, Figures of Luke and Mark are seated on the brackets of the extension, the main altar follows the woodcuts of St. Peter and Paul. Other equipment of the church comes from the 18th century. At the church there is a column of St. Trinity from 1764.
The area around the church was used until 1812 as a cemetery, later it was modified into a park. A new, contemporary cemetery was built in 1812.
