This is a basic cenotaph for the locality of Weston, in the Hunter Valley of NSW.

"A small low pebblecrete platform with 2 flag poles. 3 plaques attached to the front of the platform." (Surrounded by well-trimmed rosemary bush). (visit link)

Between the two white flagpoles is a black marble slab attached to a slightly larger slate slab, which reads:

"In honour of all those who Served, Suffered and Died for Australia."

Right in front of that is a small plaque, which reads:

"The ANZAC Centenary
2014-2018
This plaque has been placed in recognition of one hundred years since the First World War.
This war helped define Australians as people and encapsulate our unique National Identity: Courage, Mateship, Sacrifice, Generosity, Freedom and a Fair Go For All.
[100 years logo] This is a Cessnock City Council initiative in conjunction with Weston RSL Sub-Branch. [Cessnock City Council logo]

On the front of the pebblecrete platform the three plaques respectively read:

And finally, a very small engraved brass plaque at grass level on the front of the pebblecrete platform:

"This cenotaph was erected by Weston Heritage & Tidy Town Committee for the Community of Weston.
Officially opened by
Ald Jeff Maybury
25 April 1993"
