While there is a known date for the establishment of the Weston Cenotaph (25 April, 1993), it is not published when this small park was set aside, and the toilet facilities built.
There a couple of covered picnic tables, and behind the 'Civic Guide' You Are Here map there is a water bubbler.
The sign from the Cessnock City Council prohibits: motor vehicles, motor bikes, horses, fires, golf, tenting and alcohol consumption. Dogs on leashes are allowed.
There are two plaques on the cenotaph for locals who were killed in Vietnam. Pte Richard Lloyd in 1967, and Pte Errol Bailey in 1968.
